About this Sculpture

This scuplture includes Alice, The March Hare, The White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, the Dormouse (Mallymkun), The Catarpillar (Absolem) with his hookah, on mushrooms all hand sculpted using the finest polymer clay and wire armature and are OOAK ( One of a Kind ). The hair is either human or lambs wool and the eyes are hand painted glass. The hair was applied tuft by tuft and each of the Cheshire cats teeth were carved one by one. The artist is Jennifer Sutherland and is a well known artist in her own right. She has sold some of her patented work to doll companys such as Ashton Drake and some of her OOAK fairies and others have sold for well over $1800 one piece!
Jennifer's husband handmade the wooden table covered with 100yr old lace. Some of the wooden chairs are Gottschalk (German doll house chairs) near 100yrs old.
Most of the china on the table is german porcelain miniatures. Some were hand made by Jennifer Sutherland. Other is antique miniatures collected over the years.
The tree stump the Cheshire sits on is a one of a kind polymer clay sculpture made by Karen Kaufman
The dormouse for example looks like a living mouse when you see it in person and her head rotates.
