Welcome to Guilford Iron Works. I live with my wife, Tina, on a 60 acre farm, called Stonecroft in Central New York where we raise hay and sheep. The mixed flock of sheep, seven border collies, a blue heeler, three horses, a feisty rooster, and a rescued donkey make up the the rest of our family. Our hobby is sheep dog trialing, and after designing and making the prizes for a local sheep dog trial, I decided to do more with my 18 years of welding experience. So, the concept of Guilford Iron Works was born. I thoroughly enjoy working creatively with metal and consulting with customers to design and build their idea. Each item is individually crafted by hand, and customer satisfaction with the final product is very important to me.

Because almost all of my work is custom made to order, each one is different, both in size and design. Therefore, there can't be "One Price" for any particular piece. I need to understand what your needs are, where and how the piece will be used, as well as what design you prefer. You can call or write me with your requests, answer a few questions about size and style, and I can give you a rough idea of the cost. Once I have all the specifications, I can then quote an exact price and an estimated delivery date. I require a deposit to finally confirm the order, and the balance upon completion. Since each piece is made special, a deposit is a commitment to purchase, and is non-refundable
