Joe Lindsley is a painter, living in Greene, New York. But, more that that, he is a simple philosopher with an intense curiosity. A talented, insightful man with great humility, he laughs easily and heartily. His belief in the inter-connectivity of all things, from a small weed in a Florida yard, through his struggles with life, and on to Uluru ( Ayers Rock ) in Australia, has been the cornerstone of his philosophy, and is reflected in his paintings. |
| He has intensely lived his artwork since he was young, always communicating a great depth of emotionin his work. Pastels are a favorite medium and have been exhibited in many galleries in the central New York area. At 80 years young, one of his passions is to encourage student artists to follow their creative interests. |
