Visit The Terrarium Museum

      Each summer some of the nations best Artists, and Crafts People come to Syracuse New York, and transform Columbus Circle, and the area around it, into one of the largest Free Art Festivals in the Northeast.

       This top-rated Festival is a wonderful place to spend the day with the whole family. All of your senses will be stimulated there. Besides the Art and Fine Crafts, there is Great Food, Music, Performers, and Entertainment for all ages. The Kids won't get bored here!

      Every year the Syracuse New Times sponsors a sidewalk art contest. Using colored chalk, contestants create pictures on the sidewalk to compete for prizes. Watch out for that space alien climbing out of the manhole , and be careful not to step on the Mona Lisa!

      This is your best opportunity to shop for something special. With the variety of work exhibited, you are sure to find something appropriate for any taste. Whether you're looking for a painting or etching for your new home, or an original ceramic vase for a wedding gift, it's all right here. Fine Jewelry, Photography, Stained Glass Terrariums, Unique Clothing, and Handcrafted Wood are just some of the media displayed.
      It's smart to think ahead and make a list of upcoming birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions. Shopping early saves you time and disappointment later.

Bring your Appetite!Food

       You wont go hungry here. In addition to the standard Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Roast Beef, and Sausage, you'll find delicious Bar-B-Q made right there. Add some Salt Potatoes, Baked Beans, and Ice Cold Lemonade and your meal will be complete. No need to cook tonight!
      We won't forget you vegetarians. Just down the street at the Ply mouth Congregational Church you can find, in addition to Vegetarian Pizza, Cookies, Brownies, and baked goods for desert.
      Of course no festival would be complete without some Ice Cream.

JesterSend in the Clowns!

      Children of all ages will enjoy the silliness of the clowns wandering the street and, if you are lucky, maybe get a balloon animal. Just watch out for their Big Feet!
      Want to make a fantasy fashion statement? Have a face painter put a a Unicorn or Dragon on your face. Take a break, and listen to a storyteller, or buy a puppet to take home and play with.

Let the MusicBegin!

      The festival features almost nonstop music! There are performances on the Main Stage, several Mini Sites throughout the show, and even Wandering Minstrels. There will be Rock, Pop, Folk, and Jazz. If you're not careful you might even get run over by a Bagpipe Band.
